Illustration of the week

Allow me to show off!
An image of mine has made it as the Featured Illustration on the illustration homepage for istockphoto.com! As you can imagine, I’m pretty thrilled!
Featured Illustration Saturday morning, I logged in to see a couple of congratulatory emails from generous fellow Istockers, or I probably wouldn’t even have known, and I’ve been grinning ear to ear all weekend. 😀
I absolutely must renew my determination to do more images per month. This month, September, I squeezed in 2 and one adaptation after the 28th. One, I did specifically with their monthly challenge in mind – “Personalities”, and then of course, since I left it so last minute, I didn’t get it approved in time, (when it did, it made it to the Vetta list) and I didn’t get it into the competition at all! Of course, I’d have won for sure if I had. 😛 doing the dishes - household choresAh well! Teaches me I guess…though can’t say this is the first time this lessons been sent to me!

The other is a simpler one for my ‘household chores’ series. And this is a weird one, 1 version got selected into the Vetta collection. The other is not part of it, and so 30 credits cheaper. Don’t ask me!
